Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school

100 days of Kindergarten
Recently, our Kindergarten students marked a special milestone—100 days of Kindy! To celebrate, the children dressed up as delightful 100-year-olds, complete with walking sticks, grey hair, and all the charm of centenarians. Their enthusiasm and creativity were truly heart-warming. In addition to their fun costumes, the students engaged in various themed activities, all centred around the number 100. From counting exercises to creative arts and crafts, the day was filled with exciting learning opportunities.
It was a memorable experience for all, and we are excited to continue this journey of discovery and growth with these amazing young learners. Here’s to many more days of learning and fun!

Naidoc Week
Naidoc Week is an important annual celebration in Australia that honours the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It provides an opportunity for all Australians to learn about and participate in events that recognise the rich traditions and contributions of Indigenous communities. Through activities such as cultural performances, art exhibitions, and community gatherings, NAIDOC Week fosters respect, understanding, and reconciliation. It is a time to acknowledge the ongoing connection of Indigenous peoples to the land and to celebrate their resilience and diversity.

Education Week
Education Week is an annual event celebrated in schools across NSW to showcase the achievements, programs, and learning experiences of students and staff. It provides an opportunity for communities to come together and recognise the importance of education in shaping the future. During Education Week, schools often host a range of activities, including assemblies, performances, and exhibitions that highlight student learning and creativity.
Open Classrooms is a key feature of Education Week, where parents, carers, and community members are invited to visit classrooms and engage directly with teaching and learning. This initiative allows families to observe lessons, meet teachers, and gain insight into the curriculum and teaching methods. Open Classrooms fosters stronger connections between schools and their communities, promoting transparency and collaboration in education.
