Every year, the P&C oversees the running of a variety of events at Panania North Public School. Some are fundraisers, others are designed to bring the school community together, and some aim to achieve both goals. Events include:
- Kindergarten welcome evening
- Mother's Day stall
- Father's Day stall
- Easter raffle
- Election Day or other fundraising.
The Panania North Public School P&C Facebook page is regularly updated with details of upcoming events so make sure you like and follow the page.
Parent volunteers are always needed, and there are many ways to help out. You may:
- have expertise in a particular field that you can contribute in
- be able to spare some time to help organise or run an event (even if its just an hour on the BBQ)
- have some good ideas to share
- provide a donation of materials (like napkins, containers or anything else that is appropriate for the occasion.)
Requests for volunteers are sent out in notes handed out in the class to children, uploaded on Skoolbag and are also advertised in the school newsletter.
